The San Antonio Philatelic Association (SAPA) has been bringing together stamp collectors from all walks of life for more than 125 years.
Our organization provides a welcoming environment for philatelists of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced collectors. Whether you're interested in classic stamps, postal history, topical collecting, or any other aspect of the hobby, you'll find kindred spirits at SAPA.
Our weekly meetings feature educational presentations, trading sessions, auctions, and plenty of opportunities to share knowledge and stories. We also organize special events and exhibitions throughout the year, including our annual SAPA EXPO.

October 9 Stamp Program: Expertising Philatelics
Friday, October 9 • Program 7:30 PM • MacArthur Park Lutheran Church
Jimmy Tomchesson of Philatelic Stamp Authentication and Grading (PSAG) presents "Expertising Philatelics"—how stamps are expertised, which stamps should be expertised, and why. Held after the first day of the San Antonio TSDA Stamp Show. Visitors always welcome!
SAPA Annual Blue-Chip Auction
Friday, December 11 • MacArthur Park Lutheran Church
Blue-Chip lots must have a catalog value of at least $20 (the opening bid may be lower) and list the catalog number, value, and catalog year, with the condition described. Lots submitted before November 20 are verified by a panel of experts; lots are on display at the November 20 and December 4 meetings.
SAPA Holiday Party
Friday, December 18 • 6:00 PM • In the meeting room
SAPA will provide barbecue (brisket and turkey). Please bring a side dish or a dessert to share if you are able—and please come!
